New Moon - New Intentions
THIS IS THE WEEK I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR ALL OF 2020!
Seriously, this week ushers in an EPIC shift and evolution of energies. New Moon Solar Eclipse on Monday 12/14! I am using this auspicious day to launch my NEW website. It has been a labor of love these past 6 months creating this site, as I am not a techy person. I received a lot of help from my good friends Sigrid and Heather - thank you ladies!
Curious friends always ask me “Why SirenaNow?” I have used this name for almost a decade for blogs, instagram, newsletters, yoga, astrology. It is a reminder to myself that this moment of NOW is precious. Being in the moment with my heart, with my breath, with my mind. Also, I write mostly about what is happening it the moment in my present waking life. This website is a place for me to share my yoga and astrology happenings, it will evolve just as I will with time. As Ram Das said “Be Here Now”.
Let's break down the happenings of this week, check in with your Energy, check in with your Spirit, check in with your Heart. Yoga, meditation, walks in nature, Reiki, sound healing - I highly recommend finding what resonates with you this week as we experience these shifts. Journaling is a wonderful way to explore your thoughts and reactions.
Monday 12/14 - New Moon Eclipse in Sagittarius: allowing your higher truth to shine through by flipping your perspective. What is not feeling right in your world? Change it! Seek knowledge, education, life experience in order to move forward. This is the time to DREAM and dream big! Tell yourself 'why not?' and just try! Set a new intention, this eclipse will grow over the next six months and it is ruled by Jupiter - the benefic planet of good luck and expansion. If there ever was a time to set a new goal, start a new hobby, sign up for a new class, or launch something, it is NOW.
Tuesday 12/15 - Chiron in Aries turns direct AND Venus enters Sagittarius: The individual pain of the ego and self is dissapaiting, you know what has to change and this is the week to start. Venus supports you with a whole lotta love as it is chasing the Sun in Sag and New Moon in Sag. What you do and why you do it, will be from the Heart. There's been a lot of soul searching this year that has forced us to look at our individual wounds. It is time to heal through love of our Self.
Thursday 12/17 through Saturday 12/19 Saturn and Jupiter into Aquarius: When I mentioned above this is the week I have been waiting for the entirety of 2020, this is the event I am talking about. Saturn has been in its home sign of Capricorn since December 2017 and Jupiter has been in Capricorn since December 2019. There has been a ton of energy here in the heavy work oriented Earth sign. Guess who is also there? Pluto. When Saturn met Pluto in January 2020, the intensity and spread of the Covid 19 Corona Virus exploded around the world. As I studied this back in January 2020, I watched as all three of these planets danced together and broke down all of the normal we have ever known; government structure, healthcare, security, jobs, purpose, traditions, community and so much more. Pluto destroys. Saturn forces us to face reality. Jupiter cleans up the mess and lets us see the benefit of the harsh challenges. What a year. They have been in my 8th house and it has been the hardest and most difficult years of my life. The 8th house makes you dive deep into the shadow work, the hard truths, and face death - of your Ego, Self, and Others. I am ready for it to move on.
Now Saturn are Jupiter and ready to move on. They shift into lighter airy Aquarius. This doesn't necessarily mean things will be easier, but they will get better. Capricorn is about the past, old traditions and old power structures. Aquarius is about the future, rebellion, innovation and moving forward. Capricorn is the patriarchy and wealth accumulation at anyone's expense. Aquarius is the humanitarian and advocate of individual rights. The shift is coming, Aquarius is rising! More about this during the the Winter Solstice class.
