Capricorn New Moon

Sunday 1/2/22 is a perfect and practical day to really solidify those new year intentions and goals with the Capricorn New Moon. New moons are new beginnings!

Keep coming back to it, even when it gets difficult. Change takes a lot of energy, time, and persistence. You are making new choices, you are taking different paths, you are stepping into unfamiliarity. Dr. Joe Dispenza said "If it feels uncomfortable, you're doing it right." Look in your chart for the Capricorn symbol (♑︎) and then count counterclockwise 12 tick marks (each sign has 30 tick marks or "degrees"). Draw inwards to the 'house' numbers, sometimes they are roman numerals and there are only 12. Find which house, or otherwise known as 'life sector', this new moon is in.
Why do we look at which house it falls in!? Well, it gives us an idea of where this energy and archetype is concentrated. It can provide us a simple compass to create, manifest, or meditate on. As you watch the cycles of the sun, moon, and planets, you will find a rhythm in your own life and that is where the magic happens!

Capricorn is the last Earth sign in the Zodiac, it is Cardinal which means it is an activator and starts a season. You are starting something with this new year that will be LONG LASTING. Uranus (awakening) in Taurus is trine with this moon, which means there is positive electriciy behind your intentions and goals. You are awakening to new possibilities.
This new moon is currently in a stellium of planets with the Sun (identity), Venus Retrograde (love & relationships), and Pluto (soul evolution) all in Capricorn. It rules the knees and these are a very important part of the foundation of our physical bodies. This sign is practical, reliable, responsible, disciplined, and self-controlled. It favors traditions and building strong foundations, especially along the lines of business, family, and money matters. Ruled by Saturn, there is a seriousness to this sign. As a new moon, it wants you write down your plan, step by step and strive to reach mini goals that build into the bigger goals. Utlizie the house that this new moon is in to really solidify the plans for this next moon cycle. New moons start the moon phases, the next new moon is February 1st, when it moves into the Aquarius part of your chart.
Flip side to this new moon? You are breaking old traditions and old cycles in order to start new routines and new habits. There is discomfort in that because we want to go back to what feels good, especially this moon that loves tradition. It is time for a new cycle to begin.
