Personally, this eclipse is right on top of my natal moon. This means that I was born with a Taurus Moon at 23 degrees, within a small orb, because the eclipse is at 27 degrees Taurus. I am rarely nervous about eclipses as I anticipate and welcome change. However, in my heart this one is very impactful, because it is so deeply emotionally personal and falls in my 12th house. The house of release, letting go, and Spirit. The axis for me for the change in the lunar nodes (more below) falls into my 6th and 12th houses, the houses of daily work and health and rest and Spirit. I am learning to balance the two as I traverse the next 1.5 years.

This eclipse is special because it starts off the new series of eclipses along the Taurus/Scorpio axis. The nodes of the moon are shifting out of mutable, expansive, and fiery Gemini/ Sagittarius into the more fixed, serious, emotional, and evolutionary world of Taurus/Scorpio. It will bring wild cards to shift you onto your Soul's path. Even though it may be challenging at times, it a positive change for your future Self.

Taurus/ Scorpio touch upon the topics of death and rebirth, transformation, developing or not using your natural talents, intimacy, and evolution of your Soul. It will ask you to question your attitude towards material possessions and teach lessons in the impermanence of what you own. An alchemical process allows for transformation, stripping down of what’s inessential in order to discover what’s lasting and true.

Taurus is exalted in the moon, meaning it feels good here. It rules the senses and seeks out indulgence such as good food, lovely smells, beautiful art, intimate touch, and good music.
